Web development

The package validity is from the day of the payment until the website is fully created and presented. The project will commence after 50% of the final invoice is placed and the briefing form is received.

The agreement is valid from the first day of payment until the handover.


SiteFlavor will work with you with the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. We ensure that no information is disclosed to any additional parties without prior consent.

All work will be kept on file for a period of 12 months. After this time, work may be deleted unless specifically instructed.


SiteFlavor will not be held accountable if delays are from the client’s end; however, we will work with you to ensure that deadlines are as achievable as possible.

All work is done during business hours where your web developer is located. The client, therefore, agrees that correspondence may take up to 24 hours. 

Content rights

At the end of the project, any content done by SiteFlavor is owned by you or your company. SiteFlavor does, however, have the right to showcase any non-confidential work as a case study.

If SiteFlavor works with any copyrighted/licensed material and/or tools we are responsible to make sure all content is legally used. If the client provides any kind of material, the client will be solely responsible for any violations of copyright law and may be subject to legal sanctions.

SiteFlavor has the right to deny any task asked by the client if they consider it to engage in any illegal or immoral activity.

Job credits

The client allows SiteFlavor to add a testimonial (if provided), company logo, and any relevant information to SiteFlavor Website and/or Social Media pages. 


If a mockup is provided. The client agrees that a page built from a graphic design may not exactly match the original design because of the difference between the display in design software and the rendering of a responsive website. Although, the Developer agrees to try to match the design as closely as possible.

The Developer endeavors to create pages that are accessible to search engines. However, the Developer gives no guarantee that the site will become top-listed with search engines.

Alterations are included in the price and the client has the responsibility to communicate those changes. Once the client accepted the handover, no further changes are acceptable. If any other changes are requested after acceptance of the final design, extra charges apply.

Whilst every effort is made to make sure the created website is error-free, the Developer cannot guarantee that the display or functionality of the web design or the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. If, after handover, errors are found on the website the Developer has created and the standard development platform, domain name set-up, and hosting set-up are the same as when work began, then the Developer can correct these errors for the client free of charge for a period of 3 months, after acceptance of the work. After the 3-month period, the Developer reserves the right to quote separately for any work involved in correcting an error.

In the case the client specifies a need for the Website that is not possible to achieve with existing Plugins, SiteFlavor will proceed in the following way:

  1. Inform the client of the issue and try to present the closest alternative.
  2. Give another idea of how to make it work in some other way.
  3. In the case, the parties can’t reach an agreement and the client decides to accede to a change of coding, SiteFlavor reserves the right to add additional costs.

Websites are designed with powerful website tools that have been bought and licensed to SiteFlavor. As long as SiteFlavor exists these licenses are extended to your website. However, if for any reason SiteFlavor is no longer in business these tools eventually get outdated as licenses are required to update said tools. We will notify you at least 1 year ahead of time. 

If for any reason the developers licensing these tools out change their license agreement SiteFlavor reserves the right to adjust out terms and conditions to reflect that. We will notify you at least 1 year ahead of time. 


If 7 days pass without a response, SiteFlavor will assume the client is happy with the final result and will proceed to invoice if any invoices are still pending.

If the client is not happy with the final result after the rounds of revisions, then the client is entitled to a refund of the deposit, although, transfer fees are not included. 

Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. If any changes are needed from the client’s end after the quotation, changes in the quote may apply.

The client has 14 days to make the payment effective after the invoice is sent if nothing else is agreed upon. After those 2 weeks, 5% fees are added. Transfer fees are included in the final price except in the case of a refund.

The client has to make the first service payment effective if the client decides to hire more services from SiteFlavor if nothing else has been previously agreed upon.

Regardless of the client’s currency, all invoices and payable charges for the services conducted will be paid in US dollars unless previously specified.

For Website creation packages, SiteFlavor will be offering the following payment facilities:

  1. Deposit of 50% of the job upfront and balance payable by the end of the following month or when the job is delivered (to be defined before the job starts).
  2. Package payment upfront. In this case, SiteFlavor will offer as an incentive a 5% discount on the total price of the package. This discount can be accumulated with existing discounts. 

SiteFlavor will reserve the right not to commence any work until the deposit has been paid in full.

If any recurring invoices such as maintenance, domain, and/or hosting are not paid within 30 days we reserve the right to stop providing that service. After 6 months the website may become inaccessible and the domain may become available for others to buy. 

Payment facilities

You will be able to make full or partial payments inside the invoice provided once you signed the proposal. If you wish to pay in any other way, SiteFlavor will work with you to make this process as easy as possible for the client but reserves the right to refuse certain payment facilities. Any fees for a payment facility suggested by the client will be paid by the client. 

Website Maintenance

If the client pays for monthly or yearly website maintenance we provide: 

  • Website security that is protecting your website from bots, hackers, and malware
  • Monthly backups
  • Uptime monitoring
    • We get notified if, for any reason, the website goes down and we fix it as soon as possible
  • Keeping the website up to date
    • Important for performance, security, and general site health
  • Support
    • Regarding existing features and general inquiries. Work on new features etc. will be billed separately 
  • Site health reports 1/year
  • Content Deliver Network
    • Allows the website to live on multiple servers around the world improving it’s speed and performance

If the client does not sign up for the maintenance package the client themselves (after the 3-month guarantee) are responsible to keep the website maintained and functional. If anything goes wrong with the website, SiteFlavor can be approached to help but the client may be charged an additional fee. In this case, we do not guarantee restoration.  

Web hosting

If nothing else is agreed upon, your website will live on a shared server which works well for small to medium levels of traffic/per month. Higher-level servers including virtual private servers and dedicated servers are available for additional costs. 

We guarantee a 98% uptime per year. If you receive a site health report with an uptime under 98% you may request the following year to be for no extra charge. However, this uptime only refers to hosting-related issues, not for any other reason the website goes down. If these issues appear it’s covered with the maintenance guarantee or for an additional cost.

We do not guarantee any site speed for the shared hosting. VPS or a Dedicated server guarantees a speed of 3 seconds or lower for every page. 

Custom Emails

If you are provided with basic custom emails you will use the provided email client or connect those emails to your existing Gmail or Outlook email. If the client has their emails connected this way they are responsible to check the main email client in the case of a failure to send/receive email. 

If required, we help you set up Gsuite or Office 365. 

SiteFlavor team

The tasks will be performed by the members of SiteFlavor staff. Rare circumstances may involve the SiteFlavor staff requiring help from third parties. In the case the assigned assistant for your project gets sick, SiteFlavor will be in charge to assign a substitute until your assistant is able to take the project again.

The assigned Assistant could be allowed to take vacation leave. In those circumstances, SiteFlavor will inform you 7 days in advance and discuss potential conditions.

The client will not be responsible for the Assistant’s sick leave, retirement benefits, worker’s compensation, health or disability benefits, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.

All work conducted by SiteFlavor will be done Monday to Friday between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (Timezone of SiteFlavor base). Any work that is required to be conducted outside of these hours will be agreed upon at the time of the contract, and an additional charge may apply.
